The Govt. Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Theog was notified under notification No. EDN(TE)A(1)20/2006 dated 17-08-2007, with the initial introduction of three trades: Electrician Sewing Technology Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) Later, permission was granted to start one additional trade, Fitter (2 Units) under SCVT, along with an additional unit in the other three trades. The institute commenced its first session in August 2007 with one unit for each of the three trades: Electrician, Sewing Technology, and MMV. Currently, all four trades—Electrician, Sewing Technology, MMV, and Fitter—are operational in the institute's own building.
